OFFICIAL STATEMENT

OF NEW DATE

ANIME PASADENA 2020

Due to our concern for the safety of our amazing attendees, guests and staff as it relates to COVID-19 (Corona Virus), it is with a very heavy heart we're announcing that Anime Pasadena 2020 will be postponed.

This decision doesn't come lightly, but our attendees, guests and staff safety will always be our number one priority, regardless of our financial loss or any outside political pressure or opinion.

We believe it's the right thing to do while our community learns more about the virus and conditions itself to this new threat.

Our hope is that other similar events consider the safety of our community as well.

But among all the bad, we do have some great news.

Anime Pasadena 2020 will now be on the weekend of November 28th and 29th, 2020.

 

We're returning to the beautiful Pasadena Convention Center in an even larger space than what we had originally planned for!

Also, the majority of our special celebrity guests have already committed to coming to our new November date. So...more space means more awesome guests, stages. music, panels and activities.

Our ticketing page, website and social media pages will reflect the date change in the next few days.

To our valued attendees that have already purchased a ticket:

Your purchased ticket will be automatically transferred to the new weekend date. There's nothing you have to do differently or update. The same confirmation you received from Eventbrite originally will 100% work for check-in on our new dates.

We are also offering full refunds for any attendees that would not like to attend.

The refund is available up to 7 days prior to the new Anime Pasadena 2020 date in November.  But our hope is that you stay with us and support our new date. We completely understand if you decide on a refund. We will completely honor it.

To our valued Vendors:

If you have a paid space at Anime Pasadena, we will honor the payment and space location for the new date of November 28th and 29th, 2020. Now we're in a larger space, so we will also be contacting our vendors with some additional information about the area.

 

Our hope is that you stay as a vendor and prepare for a great event n November.

If you would like a refund for your sapce, please contact vendors@animepasadena.com with the subject line "Requesting A Refund". We will gladly issue you a refund for the total amount paid.

If you do request a refund and would like to come back to Anime Pasadena in the future, you would need to reapply for a space at a future date when registration for the new date opens to the public.
