New Boxing Movie: Creed - Trailer and Thoughts

I'll start this off by saying I love Rocky and the whole franchise.

I don't want to get too deep into the struggles Sylvester Stallone went through to make the original Rocky in 1976.

That movie was my Godfather, my childhood, my spirit animal...can a movie be a spirit animal?

Anyway, the two main fighters and soon to be rivals were Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed.

Creed of course being the seasoned champion and Rocky being the poor underdog.

I'll take this opputunity to spoil the ending of a movie made 38 years ago...ROCKY WON ROCKY WON ROCKY WON!.

They did end up becoming great friends through the sequels until Creeds untimily death in Rocky 4.

Now we have his son. He wants to be a boxer like his Dad, but doesn't want to live under the shadow of his Father.

I'll have my closing thoughts below the trailer.

Check it out.

Did you see Rocky...did they refernce the secret fight him and Creed had at the end of Rocky 3, did he say...I'm his son?!

Okay, wipe the tears and sweat off your face. I JUST DID!

The first 2 Rocky movies not only made you feel like you were in the ring, it made you feel the city enviorment and the struggles of being poor and struggling to survive agaist all odds.

That's what it's all about.

Creed comes out to theaters November 25, 2015
