With Metal Gear Solid 5 being such a phenomenon, it is easy to forget about the rapidly-approaching Metal Gear Online. MGO has been much of a mystery throughout the tumultuous development of Metal Gear Solid 5.
We were given a meager teaser of MGO will be like at The Game Awards back in December 2014. As incredibly as it looked, the teaser was primarily scripted and cinematic-heavy. Previous iterations of MGO were found in Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, and both were widely well-received. With MGO only a few weeks away, we've been expecting some new info for quite a while.
This week at Tokyo Games Show, we finally got those details. Footage was shown of MGO, and it looks just as insane as you would expect. Below is a video from Konami detailing how MGO will work in addition to a full match.
Metal Gear Online is set to launch on October 6.
