"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" once again has been delayed again and that’s not a bad thing. Sony and Naughty Dog have delayed the much anticipated game another two weeks due to a high demand in sales. According to PlayStations Shawn Layden "In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time."
Layden continued, "We know this news might be disappointing, and we are sorry to have to make you wait a little longer to play Naughty Dog’s latest. The good news is that the game is phenomenal. We are fully confident that it will be worth the wait and the team at Naughty Dog is eager as ever for you to experience Nathan Drake’s final adventure."
Believe me when I say this and many other can attest to this; WE CAN WAIT! With my incredible back log of quality games still yet unfinished like Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight, and with other Indies such as Ori and the Blind Forest or Unravel yet to be finished, please Sony take all the damn time you need.
But if you are still looking to satisfy your Nathan Drake itch, this weekend an open beta stress test will be available to all. This already looks like an early candidate for game of the year of 2016.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s new release date is May 10, 2016.
