Spiderman x Deadpool Movie
Captain America: Civil War early press reviews were released, most if not all stating that Spiderman’s MCU induction was not only a faithful representation of the character, but the best incarnation of the character. The joint deal between Sony and Disney is proving to be a good idea, so much so that Fox wants in on the action. The creative team for Deadpool opens up to the idea of a Spiderman crossover. Despite the stress of licensing drafts (on drafts on drafts) that each studio would undergo, Deadpool Producer Simon Kinberg has said, “If it were even remotely possible, we will find a way ‘cause we would love to see it.”
Fans themselves have shown the popularity of the unlikely team-up through fan videos, and fan art and the one-sided bromance has shown up in the comics.
Sony announces Spiderman: Homecoming at CinemaCon
Sony Pictures announced the official title to their next Spiderman solo film after the world premiere of Captain America: Civil War. Tom Holland, the 19-Year-Old British actor who is playing Peter Parker, announced the title himself. The title is a reference to Peter Parker’s high school identity, homecoming being the name of typical high school dances that take place in the new school year, as well as a statement that Marvel is having a direct hand in the film.
That’s right. The new Spiderman movie is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, distributed by Sony in partnership with Marvel Studios.
Ex-Batman in talks to play Spiderman villain
Michael Keaton is in talks to play the villain for Homecoming. Although it’s not known yet which character it will be, fans have their speculations. He will join Marisa Tomei, who will play Aunt May, and Zendaya, who is listed on IMDB to play a character named Michelle, along with Tom Holland in the film.
