Star Wars news continues as EA has announced a new Star Wars gaming title, "Scoundrel." It will be their first single-player focused game base in the Star Wars Universe and is being developed at Visceral Games, the studio behind the hit series Dead Space and Dante's Inferno. Visceral has been working on this Star Wars game since 2013.
The team that is behind this game is one of the most talented in the field today, with Amy Henning directing the game after she finished production on Uncharted 4. She is being joined on the project by Ubisoft alum Jade Raymond and Writer/Actor Todd Stashwick.
Not much is known about the story but rumor has it that this will be a game focused on fan favorite Han Solo. Although there is no official word on the rumor yet, that isn't stopping fans from imagining a full game following the exploits of Han Solo.
The best case scenario would be if the game was set up like the popular Mass Effect series by BioWare.
The one thing we know is that Star Wars: Scoundrel will hit our gaming systems sometime in 2018, the same year that The Young Han Solo movie will hit theaters. Coincidence? Maybe, but we will have to wait and see.
So what do you NERDY Scoundrel's think will this be a Han Solo game or something completely different? Let us know in the comments below!
