Fox has green lit two TV shows despite the criticisms of the latest movie in the X-Men franchise, Apocalypse.
One show will be called “Legion” coming to FX, totalling 8 episodes for an early 2017 release. It’s about a young man named David Haller who hears voices in his head but realizes that the voices may possibly be trying to help him. In the comics David is the Son of Professor X, the leader of the X-Men. Dan Stevens will be casted as David. The show won’t set place in the same universe as the movies and will stand alone.
Not much has been said about the second show, but we do know it's still in preproduction and will focus on a family's struggle running from a hostile government with their mutant child. Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg will both have their hands on this project.
It’s also important to note that Marvel studios will have a major role in these two T.V. shows.
What do you think we can expect from these shows?
