Nintendo has a pretty strict track record for shutting down anything fan created, including an animated adaptation of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, which even had the support of prominent voice actor Todd Haberkorn.
Of course, sometimes with good reason as some of the projects directly compete with the official releases that are still making money today. Now that this remake is gaining traction it’s really only a matter of time before Nintendo catches wind of it, lawyers up and serves a Cease & Desist notice.
While we at Nerdbot don’t condone piracy or the like, we’re also not the police and we ain’t no snitches.
