Carrie Fisher Dies at 60, May The Force Be With You Princess

It's with a heavy heart that we report that Carrie Fisher passed away this morning, Tuesday the 27th of December 2016 at 8.55 am PST.

She was most recently seen reprising her most iconic role as Princess Leia in Star Wars: Episode 7 from 2016.

Earlier this week it was reported that she had a cardiac episode on a plane headed back from her book tour from England into Los Angeles airport (LAX).

Early reports from her family had said that she was in stable condition after being treated at the hospital. They were cautiously optimistic that her condition was improving.

Carrie was an inspiration to not only our Staff at Nerdbot, but to generations of movie goers. Her social impact stemming from her role in Star Wars is undeniable.

We will report more as the story progresses.

May the force be with you Carrie!
