Star Trek: Discovery Committed To Launch

June 25, 2017

After a lot of speculation, the launch date for the latest addition to the fleet of the Federation has been confirmed, give or take a few hours due to Football naturally. The crew will be leaving the launch bay September 24th 2017 at 7:30/8:30pm. The first episode will also be available on CBS all access after the broadcast along with the second episode.

Discovery is under pressure to do well, considering the last few Star Trek shows on the small screen, namely 'Voyager' and 'Enterprise', did not garner the same success as previous Star Trek properties.

With an awesome cast backing the show, prospects are good, and this could well be the new 'Next Generation', which is what I am sure the producers are hoping for.

How are you feeling about the new show? Are you hoping for more of a classic Trek feel, or something more evocative of Abrams' reboot? Let us know in the comments below.
