According to the Hollywood Reporter, Stan Lee's longtime wife Joan Lee, passed away after being hospitalized with a stroke at age 93.

Stan and Joan had been married for 69 years, since 1947. Joan was a former model who met Stan when Stan was trying to meet her sister, Betty. Joan moved to Reno to get a divorce and, after it was finalized, her and Stan almost immediately married. Friends and family report they were a devoted couple and have one daughter. Stan often credited Joan for his inspiration for co-creating the Fantastic Four with Jack Kirby, the comic book that would save Marvel and revolutionize comics in general.
