In news so unsurprising that people almost didn’t notice, a sequel to this years Wonder Woman has been confirmed. It’s not a huge shock given it made the most money (in the US at least) and got the best reviews of all of the DCU movies so far.
A lot of that could be down to it being the first outing for Diana on the big screen, and the first major female superhero to get her own picture. That aside though, it was a genuinely fun movie and well received by the fans.

Patty Jenkins, director of the first movie, is apparently up for stepping into the big chair for a second time. It’s also hard to imagine Gal Gadot having any objections.
Rumor has it that this time round we’ll see WW battling it out against the Ruskies in the eighties, but at this early stage nothing has been confirmed. Fans eager to see more of Diana on screen can catch her in November, when the Justice League hurdle onto the big screen.
