DC's Doomsday Clock Artwork Revealed
April of 2017 saw DC Comics taking the first step to integrating Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons historic Watchmen, into the current universe. Through DC's ever popular Rebirth we've already seen The Button, kind of a warm up four issue story arc that ran between The Flash and Batman comics, telling the tale of a mysterious blood stained smiley face button discovered in the Bat-Cave.
If you want to know what happens... read the books!! They cost like three bucks a piece and stores everywhere should have second and third run issues on the shelves by now.
On August 21, 2017 Nerdist reported Geoff Johns, current DC Universe mastermind released two covers for the first installment of Doomsday Clock, the next chapter for what I lie to call The Watchmen Integration.
Check out the beautiful job done by artist Gary Frank:
Without giving too much away, there is a cliffhanger involving Superman and Dr. Manhattan.
Details for "Doomsday Clock" are few and far between but the twelve issue run is set to kick off in November of 2017.
The waiting continues...
Are you ready for more Watchmen? Or should DC have left it as a 12-issue series? Let Nerdbot know in the comments!!
