The Craig Era of Bond Continues
All of the internet rumors and the whole "maybe he'll do one more, maybe he won't" nonsense that comes with the movie business was put to rest this week when James Bond actor Daniel Craig announced during an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert that we will again join the forces with MI6 for one last adventure. Craig, who has undoubtedly breathed a new life into the franchise was questionable for a return after the 2015 installment Spectre, but speculate no more, the Blonde Bond is back!
As Consequenceofsound.net reported, Craig dropped a juicy nugget of information that may bring tears of joy or angst to fans of the James Bond franchise by stating this film will be his last.
"I just want to go out on a high note, and I can't wait."
- Daniel Craig

In recent months, news about the 25th Bond movie has been heating up as the announcement was made that director Sam Mendes would not be behind the camera this time. No replacement has been named just yet but I'm sure the search has begun. Producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli will provide the oversight while Neal Purvis and Robert Wade have been hired to write the script. They were also the minds behind Spectre and Skyfall. Lastly, a couple suppoorting cast members have been confirmed and a release date is tentatively set for November 8th, 2019 so check back to Nerdbot for the latest updates.
NME reported on August 3rd of 2017 that Shatterhand is the working title for the project.
With Craig sipping his last shaken not stirred martini one last time, we can only hope for the grandest of finales.
Are you excited for Craig's return? Who do you want to see as the villain? Let Nerdbot know in the comments!!
