Perform at Anime Pasadena 2026!

Interested in taking the stage at Anime Pasadena 2026?

 

We’re looking for talented performers, musicians, dancers, groups, and entertainers to join us at the Pasadena Convention Center this November.

 

Whether you perform live music, dance, martial arts, wotagei, anime-inspired demonstrations, or another unique form of stage entertainment, we want to hear from you!All applicants must have a connection to anime, manga, and/or AAPI pop culture, and all performers must be 18 years of age or older by November 7th, 2026.

 

Performance Details

 

Selected performers will appear on the Anime Pasadena Main Stage in Dragon Hall Z. Standard performance sets are approximately 45 minutes, with additional time scheduled between acts for setup and breakdown.

 

The stage measures approximately 16' x 24' x 24', and we recommend no more than 8 performers on stage at one time.

 

Basic stage production includes microphones, sound equipment, music playback, and a large LED video wall.

 

Performers should plan to bring any specialized equipment needed for their act. Internet access is not provided at the stage, so all music and media must be downloaded in advance or provided to the Main Stage Manager.

 

Who Can Apply?

 

We welcome applications from:

• Live bands and musical performers

• Singers performing with backing tracks

• Dance groups and dance cover teams

• Martial arts and cultural demonstrations

• Wotagei performers

• Anime and pop-culture themed performance groups

• Other unique stage acts

 

Anime Pasadena is an all-ages event, so all performances, including music, lyrics, choreography, costumes, and on-stage conduct, must be appropriate for a general audience.

 

Application Deadline

 

Applications close September 28th, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

 

Selected performers will be contacted by early October. If you have not received an official invitation by that time, your application was not selected.

 

Submitting an application does not guarantee a performance slot.
